You probably have a Facebook page and a Twitter account for your institution, but just having these accounts does not mean that they will do you much good unless you know how to use them.

Remember to use social media accounts according to your audience. Younger students tend to gravitate towards Twitter and Instagram as well as Snapchat, so if you want to post information to them, use those platforms.
